What to expect for 3-6 year old:
Your child will be welcomed in a small group setting brimming with positive engagement. This will encourage development of ability to establish routines, bolster socialization skills, independence and self control; all led by nurturing, patient instructors using age-appropriate methods. Most importantly, your child will have fun!
What to expect for your 7 -10 year old:
This is a crucial developmental stage when maximal engagement is key to self-esteem, confidence and socialization. Not only will your child be immersed in traditional dance, music and culture, but they will be fortified with skills in the areas of cooperative functioning, identifying expectations, task completion and leadership. Other values that will be inherently taught will anchor desirable, enriching characteristics. Here memories and friendships are made!
What to expect for your 11- 16 year old:
As your pre-teen/teen begins to navigate the challenges of adolescence, the primary focus is to refine decision-making skills as they pertain to individual function and group dynamics. This effort to incorporate movement and non-verbal communication supports effective performance, responsibility and participation within the community; on and off the dance floor. Watch their confidence soar!
What to expect as an adult participant:
You can expect to acquire a broader and deeper sense of spatial and self-awareness the moment your feet hit the floor. The classes are designed to encourage and empower your health journey in a non judgemental, inclusive atmosphere. Instructors welcome novice, seasoned and participants all across the spectrum of experience to attend these lively classes. They are an outlet for release of stressors and a delightful vehicle for expression of inner joy!
